ONE TIME ROUND PEN
SESSION: |
|
Louis
establishes the same basic principles with the client's horse that
he utilizes in his training program during the 1st time round pen
session. Client must be able to attend and sessions run
anywhere from 2-4 hours. This is an informational clinic for
client and immediate family. Scheduled privately.
All round pen sessions "off the ranch" are negotiable based on
location.

|
PRIVATE CLINICS: |
|
Louis
offers the
availability of tailoring a custom clinic format to suit any
client's needs. These clinics may be held at the ranch or at your
facility. Many of his clinic formats include riding
disciplines such as dressage, cross country, and hunter jumpers.
All clinics are priced to suit the clients needs and location.

|
ONE DAY ROUND PEN - DEMO: |
|
This clinic is designed to show observers
how Louis begins the basic foundations for his training programs.
With the use of the round pen environment, Louis demonstrates his
methods to achieve a willing, trusting attitude from his horses, and
progresses through beginning halter work, fear response, and up to
the colts first saddling. Each demonstration will have its own
learnings reflected from the individual horse. Whether using
an un-started colt or a restart of an older horse, he places
particular emphasis on safety and many of the key concepts which may
be used in working with horses in general.
Contact Louis today to set up
a demo at your facility or check our schedule for one near you.

COMMUNICATION
WITH THE HORSE CLINIC |
|
This clinic is designed
for horse and rider. Participants should be able to safely
ride their horse at a walk and trot, and may ride any discipline.
Clinics are limited to 12 riders. The focus of this clinic is
to achieve a better line of communication with the horse, through
better understanding, body language, ground work, halter work, and
exercises under saddle which enable the rider to achieve a trusting,
willing partner. During each clinic emphasis is placed on the
particular needs of the participant and their horse, as well as a
focus on the riders as a group. Some of the clinics are
offered for ladies only, creating a unique learning environment.
Price is per person/horse - includes pasture board for horse.
Must pre-register.
Observers are welcome at a charge of $25 per day per person

WORKPLACE RELATIONSHIPS |
The unique relationship
between horse and rider offers many opportunities for us to learn
insights which can have meaning beyond our relationship with the
horse.
Since the very beginning of our
horsemanship clinics, many of our clients have indicated to us that
utilizing the same principles we use with the horse could apply to
personal and work relationships as well. With encouragement
and support of these clients, we here at Mountainview Ranch began to
offer people the chance to participate in personal and professional
development programs which make up our "Communication Series" of
clinics.
Utilizing a 1-3 day format of working a
horse in a round pen environment combined with periods of group
discussions, hosted by a professional co-facilitator, we use our
horse methodology to address a diverse variety of issues.
These include leadership, collaboration, communication, and
interpersonal effectiveness as they apply to our work and personal
lives. These clinics offer success as a complete workshop, or
add success to an existing program format.
Whether you are interested in a staff
retreat, an interpersonal learning experience, or a unique
alternative to traditional leadership development courses, let us
help design a workshop to best fit your particular needs.
The facilities here at Mountainview Ranch
offer breathtaking views and a relaxed ranch environment or we will
gladly bring a workshop to the location of your choice.
